State of 8 was chosen by The Film Syndicate to provide real-time visual effects for their FX networks series "DVD on TV".

Chris Mapes of State of 8 worked closely with director Tom Arcuragi to create unique camera moves and unique shots. "It is obvious that Chris is a highly experienced production patrner. His experience in Virtual Production is an invaluable asset."

DVD on TV shoots on an encoded Technocrane, capable of moving from the virtual environment to the "hard" set and back seamlessly. Chris originally worked with Ronen Lasry of Full Mental Jacket in the spring of 2003, to create the look, feel and movement of the environment.
